Mulki, Oct 24 : Every Diya that lights up the world brightens up each heart with joy. The festival of lights came alive at Bethany School, Mulki on October 22nd with a solemn prayer to the almighty and a beautiful thought that filled the hearts and minds with love and harmony.

The Headmistress Sr Rita Sharal illuminated everyone's heart with joy and fervor by lighting the Diya. Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil, and hope over despair.

The students of class 1st and 3rd healed the festivals of light by presenting colourful rangoli, rythmatical dances and melodious songs with love and great enthusiasm. Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India.

The Headmistress Sr Rita Sharal applauded the efforts of the children for putting up a beautiful and colourful programme. The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students and teachers with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
