Mangaluru, Sep 24 : The Grand Parents' Day was celebrated at Rosario English medium higher primary school on 24 September 2022 in Rosario Cultural Hall. The programme began with the Lighting of the 'Deepa’ by the Administrator Rev.Fr. Vinod Lobo, Headmistress Mrs. Mavis Serrao, Rev. Sr. Madeline , The Superior of the convent of Jesus and Mary, The Grandparent Mr. Mohammed Bolar.

It was followed by the Prayer Service. Students read the Holy Scriptures of all the three religions. Grandparents were welcomed by the students of the lower primary through a Welcome Dance. Sentiments for their grandparents were expressed by the students from L.K.G to class 7. The students of Higher Primary entertained their grandparents with dances and songs. All the grandparents enjoyed the programme with a smile and with great applause to their grandchildren.

Games were conducted to all the grandparents who participated enthusiastically. Winners were awarded prizes. The whole programme was beautifully conducted by the M.C . Sr. Rani. The vote of thanks was rendered by Tr. Mayzita. The day ended with the refreshment for the grandparents at 12.00 p.m.
