Mangaluru, Sep 24 : St Theresa’s School celebrated Patron’s Day on the 24th of September 2022. The feast of St Therese was a joyous occasion. It was an expression of our humble and sincere gratitude to our Patroness for the bountiful blessings showered upon the Theresian family and the institution for 26 years. The school organized Novena for a week and the students participated enthusiastically in a quiz based on the life of St Therese.

The feast was joyfully celebrated significantly by the liturgical service celebrated by Fr. Ivan Dsouza, the dean of St Joseph’s seminary Mangalore. The children generously brought their gifts of love to the destitute.

A special assembly was conducted by the students of classes V and VI. The assembly began with a special prayer session followed by dance drama enacting the life of St Therese. Students of class 5 performed a special dance based on values imbibed by the patroness St Therese. Chief guest Sr. Shaila BS, The Correspondent of the institution conveyed the message to the students encouraging them to instill the values of St Therese in our lives. The Principal Sr Lourdes stressed the importance of the life of St Therese and her simplicity. The celebration concluded with the school anthem.
