Mangaluru, Sep 1 , 2022 : Father Muller Medical College in collaboration with Mangalore Round Table 115 and Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 organised a program on World Physiotherapy Day at St Theresa’s School. ‘At work, at play , let good posture lead the way’ was the theme of the program.

Sr Shaila, the correspondent of the school was the chief guest for the day. Director of FMCI Rev Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho presided over the program. Prof Cherishma D'silva HOD FMMC; Dr. Antony Sylvan D'Souza, Dean, FMMC; Mr. Haron Fernandes Chairman, Mangalore Round Table 115; Sr. Lourdes, Principal, St Theresa School; Mrs. Monisha Lobo, Chairperson, Mangalore Ladies Circle 82; Mrs.Nanditha Fernandes, Aria manager, Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 were the dignitaries present.

Sr. Shaila, the chief guest spoke on the physical and mental well being which is important to promote healthy life.

Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho during his presidential address said that "life will not become by chance but by change".

Dr. Sahana Kamath, Associate professor, FMMC started the interactive session with a play and spoke about the importance of good posture and healthy lifestyle, disadvantages of bad posture etc.

The students from grade 3 to 5 along with the teachers attended this informative program in the school main hall. It was a very useful and informative session for the students.
