Mangaluru, Aug 29 : Carmel School celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm on 29th August 2022. The program was organised by the students of standard VIII B. Through the Prayer service the students depicted the Parable of Talents. The Gathering was welcomed by traditional welcome dance.

Students enacted a skit highlighting the theme of the day 'Securing a Sustainable and Peaceful Future for all'. 'Sports hai important, important hai sports' was the theme of Nukkad Natak performed by the students. Zumba dance and entertainment dance entertained the gathering ànd propagated the importance of exercise. Mr. Karunakar and Mrs.Sachitha - Physical Directors of the School were the chief guests. Mr Karunakar addressed the students highlighting the importance of sports in order to keep the body and mind fit.

Gathering was welcomed by Miss Isha. Miss Mehek and Fathima Hafiza compered the program.
