Moodbidri, Jun 21 : It was a happy and proud moment for the Carmel CBSE School, Moodubidire to start the Parent Teacher Association to strengthen the bond between the parents and the teachers at the beginning of this academic year 2022.

The Inaugural of the Parent Teacher Association was held on 10 June 2022 at 2.30 pm in the school hall. The programme commenced with an inspiring prayer invoking God’s blessings followed by a graceful prayer and a welcome dance.

Sr. Jyothi, the principal addressed the gathering and motivated the parents to cooperate with the teachers and support the school in all its endeavours.

The chief guest of the day, Sr. Priya Maria, Joint Secretary of Carmel School along with other dignitaries on the dais honoured the Toppers of two batches, 2019-20 and 2020-21 with trophies for their achievement in their academic studies.

Mr. Melwin Canute DSouza, an Alumnus of Holy Rosary School P U College and a very enthusiastic counsellor said that “Smart Parents for Smart Education” would enable in building a strong rapport and effective bonding between parent-child relationships. To pursue academic goals with perseverance Tr. Clara presented a system of evaluation to assess the academic performance of the students. Sr. Premal, Vice Principal, presented a set of rules and regulations which would be beneficial in maintaining the bond and better relationship between parents, Teachers and Students.

The Parent Teacher meeting is a platform for healthy and effective communication between the teachers and parents at regular intervals. An executive body of the Parent Teacher Association was formed with parents representing various classes. The executive members PTA will meet once a month or as planned by the Principal to plan and evaluate the important events of the school and help towards the academic and holistic development of students.

Mr. Prajwal proposed the Vote of thanks and thanked all the dignitaries, the parents and the teachers for their suggestions and cooperation during the meeting. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
