Mangaluru, May 28 : An orientation program for the Parents of Grade I, the new admissions from Grade II to VIII, LKG & UKG and Nursery was organised at Mount Carmel Central School on May 27, 2022 in three different sessions. The programme commenced with a prayer.

The Principal Sr Melissa A.C welcomed the gathering and briefed the parents about the school and its functioning. The School Counsellor Ms Philomina presented an informative session on “Effective Parenting” to the parents for all the three sessions. Ms Jacqueline and Ms Leena briefed the parents on the syllabus and methods of Evaluation for Grade I to VIII, Ms Joyce and Ms Neetha updated the parents of LKG and UKG on punctuality, the need to inculcate healthy food habits and hygiene. Ms Shyla Crasta gave inputs on the activity based teaching done at the Nursery level.

The vote of thanks was rendered by Ms Nishain, Ms Sumana and Ms Babitha, thanking the parents for placing their trust in the Institute and for being a part of this orientation program organised by the School. Ms Purnima, Ms Jenitha and Ms Sandra compeered the programme.
