Udupi, June 4, 2018 : Early intervention autism centre, new mechanized kitchen and the new academic year was held at Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor on Friday, June 1.

Former presidents of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh and Mangalore Pradesh, Valerian Fernandes and Anil Lobo inaugurated the early intervention autism centre. Modern kitchen equipped with steam cooking was inaugurated by warden Sr Mary Beck. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves blessed the kitchen and autism centre. The new academic year was inaugurated by Shirva deanary head Fr Stany Tauro.

During the programme Fr Tauro was felicitated for his support for Mansa for the last 8 years. He is now transferred to Kundapur.

Principal Sr Ancilla Fernandes welcomed the gathering.

Fr Ferdinand and Fr Stany spoke and appreciated the humanitarian work done at Manasa. President of Manasa Henry Menezes presided over the function. Administrator John Noronha rendered the vote of thanks.

President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Alwyn Quadras, president of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh Rolphy D Costa, treasurer of Manasa Elroy Kiran Crasto, president of PTA and taluk panchayat member Celine Karkeda and former secretary Dr Gerald Pinto were present.
