Mangaluru, Jan 17 : St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) Alumni Association and Discipline & Equity Group in association with Mangaluru Traffic Subdivision organised a Session on Road Safety Awareness on 17 January 2024, 10:00 AM at SJEC, for all students and staff.

Mr BP Dinesh Kumar, DCP Crime and Traffic, Ms Geetha D. Kulkarni ACP and Mr Gopalkrishna Bhat, PI Traffic East were the Resource persons of the event. Nelson Castelino - Vice President SJECAL, Carlton Sequeira - Executive Member, Dr Puroshothama Chippar- Vice Principal, Rakesh Lobo - HR Manager and Faculty Coordinator, Vinoothan Kaliveer & Prasad SM were present on the occasion.

On this occasion Mr BP Dinesh Kumar spoke about safety guidelines to be followed by individuals while travelling in the road and contribution by each of us in order to avoid the accidents and other possible damage to the people around and also mentioned about the Do’s and Don’ts in terms of Road Safety. Mr Gopalkrishna Bhat highlighted the compulsory use of safety equipment such as helmet, seat belts etc., during driving.

Ms Geetha D. Kulkarni took the pledge along with the audience to ensure each individual follows the safety guidelines to the best possible extent. Mr Vinoothan Kaliveer delivered the vote of thanks.
