Mangaluru, Dec 13 : On December 9, 2023, St. Theresa's School, in association with its PTA, hosted the "Theresian Gala fete 2023" in the School grounds. The fete's objectives were to provide scholarships to underprivileged students and to raise money for the purchase of thirty computers for the artificial intelligence lab.
Theresa's School grounds were a flurry of activity as Sr Shaila, Correspondent & PTA Chairperson, Sr Lourdes, Principal & PTA President, Mr Sujith Noronha, PTA Vice President and the event's primary sponsors, Mr Pran Shrinath, Mr Shrinath Hebbar, Dr Rohan Gatty and Mr Sandeep D Silva kicked off the fete.
The crowd's palate was eased by a range of food stalls offering cakes, brownies, pastries, cookies, potato twisters, and gobi manchurian. Juices and ice creams satisfied the others' thirst.
The kids were enthralled and kept busy all evening long by the engaging game stalls that the St Theresa's teachers had set up, including the car race, treasure hunt, hooking the bottle, stacking the bottle, 7 up down, and fortune wheel. Popular dishes were served by the vendors, and the festival showcased distinctive, creative culinary creations.
The housie housie game and the auction were the highlights of the celebration. The students' talent, which was displayed throughout the evening through dancing and singing, held the audience spellbound.
Under the direction of the Principal, Sr. Lourdes, PTA members, and the capable direction of PTA Vice President Mr.Sujith Noronha, the teachers and non-teaching staff have been working tirelessly for days to make this event a memorable and successful one.
The attendees, who included parents, friends, former students, and well-wishers, expressed their delight at the food festival's success and its beneficial effects on the school community. They praised the atmosphere of the program and acknowledged the effort put forth to make it a success.
