Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2023 : Nazareth School, Balmatta celebrated Children’s Day with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal on November 10th to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, keeping in mind his words, “I may not have time for adults, but I have enough time for children.” Children fondly called him Chacha Nehru. Seeing his tremendous love for children, the day is observed as Children's Day which is a great tribute to this great soul as he poured great affection on Children wherever he went.

Children are the most precious treasure of any country. They are the hope for our future. The teachers ensured that they made the day very special for their dear students by presenting various exciting performances such as group melody songs, dance drama, western dance group performance. The celebrations began with the teachers reciting the prayer song. The teachers showcased their talent by dancing on the peppy songs which also made the students to groove in. The students were in awe to see their teachers in this fun and exciting new avatar.

The culmination of the assembly was the icing on the cake for the students, as the students jammed on their favourite songs and they shook a leg along with their friends. Finally the sweets were distributed to the students.
