Vamanjoor, Oct 17 : The inaugural ceremony of NSS annual camp of St. Raymond's P.U. College, Vamanjoor was held on 14th October 2023 at Amrit Lalji High School, Kelarai, Neermarga.

Rev. Sr. Roshel B. S. Assistant provincial superior, Bethany congregation, Mangalore province presided over the function. In her presidential address she emphasized on the significance of unity among the youth for the overall progress and development of the Nation. She also encouraged the NSS volunteers to work selflessly for the betterment of the Society.

The annual NSS camp was inaugurated by Mr Sridhar, President, Grama Panchayat, Neermarga. Rev. Sr. Shubha BS, Coordinator for educational apostolate, Mangalore province and the Correspondent of St Raymond's P U College blessed the occasion with her radiant words. Mr. Mohandas Shetty, President, Lions district committee, Mr. Santhosh Dcosta, Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Michael Antony, Member of Neermarga Grama Panchayath, Sr . Precilla Rodrigues, Retired teacher, St Joachim Primary School were the esteemed guests of the day.

Program was directed by Sr. Anita Lydia BS, Principal, St. Raymond's P U College, coordinated by Mr. Jayaram, NSS Program Officer. Mrs. Harinakshi welcomed everyone. Mrs. Savitha Menezes anchored the event. Mrs. Carmel Nazreth proposed the vote of thanks.
