Kinnigoli, June 22 : On 21st of June 2023, International Yoga Day was celebrated in St Mary's central school. The program was hosted by the MC Rishab Shetty of class 8th followed by the prayer by the school choir.

The welcome speech was done by Ayesha of class 8th. It was then inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Fr Praveen Aranha, SVD priest, Principal Fr. Lancy Joel Saldanha and the coordinator. There was then a song related to yoga by the school choir boys. Speech regarding the awareness of international yoga day was read by Disha of class 8th and Shanvi of class 10th.

Various different Asana's were performed by a few of the school yoga students. Followed by this they had a speech by the chief guest Fr Praveen Aranha and Principal regarding the yoga day. Vote of thanks was read by Bhavish of class 8th. And the program ended by making all the yoga students perform various asana's in the school hall.
