Manjeshwar, June 19 : Brother Joseph Crasta, The founder of Snehalaya, rescued a person named Kenchenna on 19th January 2023. He was found wandering on the streets of Uppala, Kasargod. He showed extremely violent behaviour and was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre. The Psychiatric counsellors and medical team managed to give him the appropriate care and support.

In addition to the medication, he was urged to take part in various therapeutic activities and counselling sessions. Based on the information provided by him, their social workers were able to determine his native place. There were also Phone call family counselling, Sessions for Kenchenna and for his family. So there the psychiatric social workers arranged a reunion on 18th June 2023 at Snehalaya. The family members came to Snehalaya to receive Kenchenna. His wife and mother were in tears as they saw him alive and in good condition. Kenchanna was really delighted and happy as he is back to his abode. It gives them Satisfaction and Joy when they witness so many reunions taking place from their Centre.
