Manjeshwar, April 27 : On 05th April 2012 Brother Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya rescued a destitute from Manjeshwar Railway Station who was physically disabled and mentally disturbed. He was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho–Social Rehabilitation Center Manjeshwar for care and treatment.

A few months back he started to tell the team members that his name is Hussain and he belongs to Hiriyur of Bangalore. The search for his native details continued and the team came to know that he belongs to Hiriyur of Chitradurga District. After contacting his sister and other family members, they were surprised and happy to know that he is living at Snehalaya.

Immediately they travelled to Manjeshwar and reached Snehalaya. On 26th April 2023, Snehalaya Family witnessed a joyful reunion of Hussain after 30 years of missing. Family members shared that during the riots, communal disturbance and curfew; because of fear, he left his hometown and they lost hope in meeting him again. His parents expired and his other siblings were missing him badly. To see him again and get him back is really unbelievable to them. His sisters and nephews appreciated the service of Snehalaya and were thankful to Brother Joseph Crasta the founder of Snehalaya who has provided homely care and treatment to Hussain and guided his team in his reunion.
