Mangaluru, Nov 22 : "Children are the best creation of God, they spread joy and happiness in every season".

The Children’s Day was celebrated at St. Agnes Preparatory School on 14th November 2022 in all its radiance, drive and liveliness, commemorating the birth of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and dedicating the day to all the children.

The programme began with a prayer service followed by a prayer song. Various intentions for the good health of children were offered to the Almighty.

The mesmerizing performance of the day was the dance performance by the teachers and a skit based on Moral values "helping each other those who are in need" was enacted to bring cheer to the children. The wishing song highlighted that children are precious to the teachers.

Sr. Lorna Mary the coordinator addressed the little ones about smiles, children should always keep smiling and also by saying God still loves the world and everyone is precious to God.

Fun spot games were conducted for the students and prizes were distributed among the winners by the Principal Sr. Maria Gracilda A. C. and Coordinator Sr Lorna Mary.

Tr Shanthi compered the programme, Tr Shalet proposed the vote of thanks.

The celebration came to a closure with the distribution of sweets to the children.

"Every Child is a different kind of flower and all together make this world a beautiful garden".
