Mangaluru, Sep 6 : To commemorate the birth of the Second President of India Dr. Sarvapalli RadhaKrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, every year 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day.

The celebration was organised with incredible gusto and zeal by the students of St. Agnes CBSE School. The day began by celebrating Eucharistic Celebration.

Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. Hence to express their gratitude, a wide range of activities were organized on this occasion. The students planned many scintillating dance performance, on some peppy numbers which highlighted the heartwarming relationship between a teacher and a student. Fun filled games that were conducted by the cabinet members, reminded the teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic.

The Joint Secretary of the institution Dr. Sr. Maria Roopa A.C along with Principal Sr. Maria Gracilda honoured the teachers for their valuable service. The day concluded with sumptuous lunch to the staff arranged by the management.

All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event that would be cherished forever.
